Information we collect

When you request an estimate or contact us through this website, we collect the information you provide:

• Your name, phone number, email address and, if provided, your WeChat ID.
• The property location: the address or area you enter and, if you place it, the map pin.
• The project description, the type of work, access notes, your relationship to the property, how soon the work is needed and your preferred language.
• Photos, videos and documents you upload. These files are stored in Cloudflare R2 cloud storage.
• Your choices for contact by email, text message and phone call, together with the wording shown, the date and time, the page address, your IP address and your browser's user agent. We keep this record to document your consent.

With each request we also store your browser's user agent (the browser and device type). Your IP address is used to limit repeated submissions and is recorded with your contact consent. If you ask an AI assistant to send us a request on your behalf, we receive the details the assistant sends.

Address search and maps

The location field uses Mapbox to suggest addresses and display the map. Mapbox receives the text you type in that field and the map area shown, along with technical information such as your IP address, and handles it under its own privacy policy.

Cookies and local storage

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you choose a light or dark display theme, the choice is saved in your browser. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set cookies needed for security, and the staff administration area uses a sign-in cookie.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your request and contact you about it.
• Review the project, prepare estimates and proposals, and schedule site visits and work.
• Coordinate the work with the partner contractors and design professionals involved in your project.
• Keep records of our work and meet legal, tax and insurance obligations.
• Protect the website against spam and misuse.

We send text messages or make automated calls only if you have agreed to them. If you leave the consent boxes unchecked, we reply using the contact details you provided, for example by email or a direct phone call.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

• Partner contractors and design professionals working on your project, such as licensed master electricians and master plumbers, HVAC and low-voltage contractors, architects and engineers, receive the details they need for that project.
• Service providers that operate the website on our behalf: Cloudflare hosts the website, stores requests and files, and sends our email notifications; Mapbox provides address search and maps.
• Government agencies, utilities or other parties when required by law, or when needed for the permits, inspections and filings for your project.

Mobile phone numbers, text message opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing described above does not include text message opt-in data and consent.

Text messages

If you agree to receive text messages, we send messages about your request, such as scheduling, estimates and project updates. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Our SMS terms describe the program in full.

SMS terms

How long we keep information

We keep requests, files and project records for as long as needed to respond to you, carry out and document the work, and meet legal, tax and insurance obligations. Files uploaded with forms that were never submitted are deleted automatically within about one day. Records of contact consent and opt-out are kept for as long as needed to show compliance with telephone and text messaging laws.

Security

Access to requests is limited to authorized staff, and data is sent over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

• You can withdraw consent for email, text messages or calls at any time. Reply STOP to any text message, or tell us by email or phone.
• You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hi@zhuoyue.nyc or calling (929) 829-9929. We may keep information we are required by law to retain, including the record of your consent or opt-out.

Children

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
